My First Blogger Event

Hello Beauties & Gents!

Firstly, I’d like to apologize for my lack of blogging during this month.  Life has been a bit crazy thus, I haven’t had the chance to post something.  However, if you want to catch up on me and my life in between blog posts, feel free to follow my Instagram– as I always keep that up-to-date.  Without further ado, let’s talk about my first blogger event!

I was notified by my friend, Shelby Jewel of The Memphis Jewel (who I knew pre-blogging), about this upcoming Kendra Scott Memphis Blogger Shopping party hosted by the lovely Elizabeth of Lifestyle in Focus.  I was super excited to be approached about this event since that signified to me that my presence in the Memphis blogging community was getting recognized.

Now, since this was my first Blogger Event- I don’t have the best of pictures (I came very unprepared).  However, you can see how nicely everything was set up for the Bloggers below:

 

I was also super excited to finally meet some of the Memphis Blogger Babes that I have been following on Instagram for quite a while now.  Don’t get me wrong, I was super nervous in attending the event since I knew only Shelby.  However, everyone was super sweet and welcoming to me, as the new blogger in town.  It felt like I have known these lovely ladies for a long time, thanks to social media.

 

Regarding my look:  I have a full-time job so I wore this outfit to work and easily transitioned it for the event (it was work appropriate).  Love this skirt, it goes right above the knee so HR is super happy and so am I. 🙂

Overall it was a fun event, bringing together the Memphis Blogging Community.  So glad to be a part of such a supportive and amazing group of people!

*Please note that these items of clothing are from a couple of seasons ago and therefore are not available anymore.  Thus, I tried to locate similar items from the same stores.
