From Summer to Fall Fashion: Animal Print

Hello my KMD lovelies!

One of the amazing things about fall is that we get to wear more bolder prints such as Animal Prints!  Before I divulge into my outfit for this theme, have you checked out my previous posts in this series: Fall Florals and Statement JacketCheck them out before coming here so you get an idea of what this series is all about!  Also, don’t forget to check out my lovely Memphis Blogger Babes post on this look as well, links are listed below!

Moving on, I’m a sucker for a good cheetah/leopard print in the fall especially in the work environment.  Everyone in my life knows that its’ one of my favorite prints.  But, when I was putting my outfit together for this theme, I wanted to challenge myself.  What’s the fun in coming up with outfits for a Fashion Series if you can’t challenge yourself?

Luckily for me, I had these super cute snake print heels in my closet.  They were given to be as hand-me-downs from an amazing family friend and I have been longing for an opportunity to wear them!  Thus, putting together an outfit with these snake skin heels for this theme seemed like the perfect opportunity!

I love making bold, statement pieces stand out in my outfits, so I wanted the shoes to be the star of this outfit.  I added a simple work-appropriate black dress, with a nice pipping design, and gold zipper to go with the snake print heels.  Neutrals make any print pop and I decided to go with black for this outfit.  I kept my jewelry and make-up to a minimal because I only wanted the simple black dress and heels to be the focus of this look.  You can always add a white blazer or cardigan to this look, when it gets cold in the office and for the chiller temperatures.

Would you wear this outfit to your office?  Let me know in the comments below!
