Blogger Xchange Workshop: Memphis Happy Hour

Hello my KMD lovelies!

Lately, I’ve been heading to quite my fair share of blogger events so I thought, it was about time to catch up on my lifestyle posts and update you all on what’s been going on.  The event I’ll be talking about is a Blogger Workshop during Happy Hour hosted by Blogger Xchange from July- I know, I’m super behind on my posts!  Without further ado, let’s get on to the event details!

Blogger Xchange is a blogger networking group run by Leigh of Love, Leigh Love and Kay of I am Kay Elle.  They host classes, socials and “xperiences” for bloggers within Nashville, Memphis and Minneapolis.  I noticed a few of my blogger babes in town had gone to an event hosted by them earlier in the year (before I started to reboot my blog).  So therefore, I was interested in heading to an event or workshop hosted by them.  One of my Memphis blogger babes told me to just contact them and they will add me to their Memphis Bloggers list.

Luckily, as I contacted the Blogger Xchange team, they were hosting a Memphis Happy Hour/Blogger Workshop within a couple of weeks at Bar DKDC.  I quickly signed up for and was super excited to attend.  Having only gone to one previous blogger event (which was jewelry launch party), I didn’t know what to expect since I hadn’t ever been to a networking/workshop for bloggers.

This event was hosted by two of the lovely local Memphis bloggers, Desiree of Mocha Divas and Synolve of Synolve.  It was focused on how to set monthly goals for your blog.  There was also a special guest speaker, Alex of City Chic Living.  I learned a lot at the event (hoping to actually using these tips, one of these days) and also had super fun meeting new bloggers and catching up with some familiar faces.

Regarding my look:  I wore an outfit that was work appropriate but still fun to transition into a Happy Hour.  The dress is super lightweight, so it works great in the heat of the Memphis Summer!

Overall, this was great first blogger workshop that I had attended.  The hosts and the location were incredibly warm and friendly.  The Memphis blogging community is full of passionate and hardworking women who’ve turned a passion or lifestyle into a business.

Until next time my lovelies,

Komal Means Delicate (KMD)

  1. That is so cool Komal! I didn’t know those two wonderful girls were the ones teaching you guys! How fun! I definitely need to make it to the next one. I hate missing out on stuff like this! I am so glad you have gotten to participate in these things though because I know how busy you are!
