Girl’s Night Out at Loft

Hello my KMD lovelies!

If you saw my Instagram Stories, then you probably saw that I went to another Loft Event for Bloggers last week.  I wanted to write a couple of event posts before I wrote this one but since I just wrote a Loft Blogger Event post, I thought I would just go ahead and write about this one as well.  I love supporting the local Loft’s in town and was excited about attending this once since it was hosted by my amazing blogger friend Jamie (Style by Jamie Lea).

Jamie had reached out to me (and the other local bloggers) about an event she was hosting for one of the Loft locations in town.  She was helping promote their Instagram page and invited us to the event.

I arrived late since I had just come from a full day of work plus attending a Grad School class.  However, I didn’t want to miss it and I wanted to show my support to this dear lady!  If it’s an event that I can attend around my crazy schedule, then I will definitely try to make it to show my support.

The delicious snacks and drinks!

When I got there, I saw Jamie talking to another blogger as well as a few familiar faces.  The ladies at Loft were super sweet and introduced themselves as well as provided us a special blogger discount for any of our purchases.  There was also a table full of goodies and trust me, I did eat a chocolate pretzel (or maybe two).

I always love attending these events as I get to see these amazing girls at once.  Since I arrived a bit later, a lot of the other bloggers were already starting to try on some of the items they had picked.  So, I chatted with some of the other bloggers who were still browsing and shopping around.

Now, on to the fun part: my outfit!  Let’s be real, we all know you had scrolled down to this part of the post ;).  Now I checked the weather and knew that it would be in the mid-high 60’s all day but going down to the 40’s.  Since I was arriving later in the night and after a full day of work/school, I wanted to make sure I had layers for the change in temperatures.

Layers are my go-to option for the constant changes in temperature in the spring.

I opted for an adorable work-appropriate skirt that I had previously bought from Loft (had to show my support).  I paired the skirt with a basic white tee as well as black tights.  Tights for spring sounds crazy but I had to be prepared for that possible 40-degree night weather.  I hate getting sick so I keep myself as warm as possible.  Lastly, my skirt had pops of blue in it so I added a blue blazer and blue flats in order to tie the whole outfit together.
