One Dress, 3 ways: Spring Edition!

Hello my KMD Lovelies!,

I know I haven’t been posting for a while.  The month of April is always so insane with finals approaching but now that my spring semester of Grad school has ended, I’ll be bringing more posts your way!  I’m always pretty active on my Instagram even if I’m not posting here so always keep a look out there!

Now, let’s get to our main topic of discussion:  how to style a bright yellow spring dress in three different ways!  I love me a yellow dress, so I wanted to show how you can style one in multiple ways.

Spring is the time for sunshine and a yellow dress seems like the best kind of sunshine!

Look #1:  Just bare

A best way to wear a dress?:  On it’s own!  I love paring this floral yellow dress with some flats, gladiator sandals or wedges for the summer.  Here, I’ve paired it with some plain black flats.

Look #2: Throw a jacket or cardigan over it

I’m always getting cold, even in the heat of summer.  You’ll always see me carry a cardigan or light denim jacket around during the warmer spring months.  So with this dress, I’ve paired both a denim jacket and a cardigan to show how it looked both ways.  I choose a pink cardigan as the dress had hints of pink in it so just to pop it out.  I’ve also still paired my plain black flats with these looks but gladiator sandals and wedges are also an option.

Look #3:  Leggings and booties

Since we’re still in spring, there will be some days that will be rainy and cold.  For those days, I like to use this dress as a tunic and pair it with black leggings and my favorite pair of booties.  It’s a perfect way to use the dress as a transitional piece between spring and summer.
