Hello my KMD lovelies!
Fall is in the air for most of the country but it’s still quite hot here in the South (mid-90s, mind you!). So, with that being said, we’re still getting quite hot and sticky down here. During the hotter months, I like to use a body scrub more so then the colder months. Since my skin dries up a lot in the winter, I need more moisturizing products during that time and not ones that strip your skin. However, that’s the opposite for me in the hotter months. Therefore, that’s why I use a body scrub during this time of the year.
Coincidently, I was running out of my body scrub and not too soon afterwards, I received the Jan Marini Bioglycolic® Resurfacing Body Scrub in the mail. You bet I was super excited to try this out. I read great reviews about Jan Marini products, so this was a huge deal for me. I tried the product the day after receiving it in the mail.
Firstly, I noticed that the texture was softer than most body scrubs that I had tried.
The beads in this scrub are super fine so they scrub every tiny dead cell off of your body! The product also feels a lot different than most body scrubs. This product uses fine exfoliating particles rather than sugar like most other body scrubs use. It also has highly concentrated glycolic acid in it which is great for acne prone skin. One thing I noticed about the product is that it didn’t have much of a scent (to me) so if you’re sensitive to scents then this is a great product for you.
I use a body scrub on the days that I work out hard core, which are every other day. Once my old body scrub finished, I added this body scrub to my routine and loved it! Since it’s a much finer body scrub then most others that I have used, it’s also not been as harsh on my skin.
I have been testing this product for a couple of weeks now and have been loving it. It’s giving me a luxurious spa type of feeling every time I come home from an intense day at the gym and shower. Once my current bottle finishes, I’ll be purchasing a new one because I just love how great it is to my skin! I hope you all give it a try, if you can- it’s well worth it!
