The Caribbean Story: A Mapiful Review

Hello my KMD lovelies!,

As most of you know, you are never done with decorating a house.  In fact, I’m constantly decorating/relocating rooms in my house but I difficulty decorating some rooms like my master bedroom.  I couldn’t figure out what to put on the walls for the longest time.  Recently, I saw my lovely friend Richa of iScriblr posted a picture of the bedroom décor she had in her room.  She framed pictures of the cities that she and her husband are from and used that as the wall décor.  I loved that idea so much that I wanted to do it to my bedroom. She told me that she used a website called Mapiful.

Luckily, right when I was about to order prints for myself, Mapiful reached out to me regarding doing a collaboration with them.  I was so excited that they reached out to me since I was about to purchase a product from them on my own!  Without further ado, let’s get to my review and story behind the pictures!

Mapiful has many different types of products on their website.  With this collaboration, they offered me 1 Classic Mapiful and 1 Text Art Mapiful.  I didn’t know what city to choose since I’ve been to a few cities and have loved visiting all of them. I decided on choosing St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

St. Thomas holds such a special place in my heart because that is the city where my husband and I choose to have our honeymoon.  It was the city that we decided we would start our lives as husband and wife.  It was our first time to the Caribbean (as a couple and individually as well) and we couldn’t have picked a more better location.  The USVI are one of the few locations in the Caribbean where you are safe enough to leave your resort and explore the town/city on your own.  I loved it so much that I wrote a whole blog post about it.

Moving on to the Mapiful prints.  It was such an easy process in choosing my prints!  I typed in the city when I chose the Classic Mapiful.  When I chose the Text Art Mapiful, I uploaded one of my favorite pictures from the USVI and Mapiful’s website did the magic for you!  The process was super easy, and I received the prints fairly quickly as well.  The quality of the prints is super thick so they will last quite a while.  They’re also a matte print, which I like because it eliminates glare so you can really enjoy your prints.
