Hello my KMD lovelies!
A lot of my friends and family have been asking about how I have grown my blog (as well as Instagram and Pinterest) and while I’m no expert in social media growth, I thought I would share the tips and tricks that I have learned over the years. Keep in mind, this post will only go over growing your blog and not any of the other social media pages. Hope you find the tips helpful!
Join Facebook Groups
I have joined a couple of Facebook blogger groups and noticed that it does help. In the groups, you can post your most recent blog post as a comment and others will read/comment on it (as long as you do the same for them). Engagement is key when growing a blog and engaging in Facebook groups as such help with that growth.
Pinterest is your best friend
I did mention my intro paragraph that I won’t tell you how to grow your other social media channels. However, I will say that you should use these other avenues as ways to grow you blog. Pinterest is one of the best ways to grow your blog. Most people think of Pinterest as another “social media” site however, it’s more like a search engine. Basically, it’s like Google but with pictures. If you think about it, when you use Pinterest, you use it to search for what you want like, such as a recipe, new hair look, home décor inspiration, etc. So, in that perspective, you’re using it like a search engine. Use that knowledge to your advantage.
For example, when you are writing your blog post, what would you put into Pinterest when searching up that post? Use the keywords you would type when you make your pin. Speaking of pins, make sure you have nice visual pins. Use websites like Canva.com that give you amazing templates to make it easier for you.
Posting regularly will not only keep your current readers interested but will also keep new people coming. With each blog post comes new ideas, pictures, keywords, etc. which can lead to new readers thus more traffic. All of those things do help you grow your blog each time.
There you have it, my top 3 tips for growing your blog’s audience. Let me know what you think, were these tips any helpful for you?
