Mask Fashion is a Thing! Featuring: BlushMark Boutique

Hello my KMD lovelies!

It’s crazy how it’s already September and we’re still in a pandemic!  One of the ways I’ve been trying to stay safe is wearing a mask every time I go outside.  Since we’ll be fighting Covid-19 for a while, mask fashion is definitely going to be a thing.  I mean, why not dress up your masks while you’re at it, right?

BlushMark was kind enough to reach out to me and send me some fall transition outfits along with masks.  I thought I would round up a couple of my favorite types of masks and how to style them to transition into fall fashion, in this blog post.  BlushMark is also offering my readers a limited time special 20% off discount code.  If you like these outfits or want to purchase the cute masks from BlushMark, make sure to add the code “BMKomal20” at checkout.

Olive you a Rainbow!

With fall colors, olive green is one of my favorites to wear.  Even though it sometimes blends in with the early fall greenery, I still love it as a fall color.  I usually consider this a “fall neutral” so with that in mind, I would pair a colorful mask with this type of look.  For this fall outfit, I paired an olive dress, with black over-the-knee boots and a rainbow mask.

Orange you an animal person?

Pumpkin orange is such a great fall color, for obvious reasons.  This color looks amazing on almost all skin tones as well.  Since this is also a neutral and plain color, I would suggest getting a mask that represents your favorite animal.  I paired this orange dress, with a long black necklace, black over-the-knee boots and a kitten mask.  While I’m not a cat person and more my husband, this mask was to show my appreciation for his animal.

Pink you can do it too?

My favorite color ever is blush pink and I tend to wear it year-round.  If you have a favorite color, don’t let the seasons limit your wear- go ahead and wear it whenever you like!  I like this pink cropped top from BlushMark, paired it with a denim skirt (which I like to transition into fall),nude over-the-knee boots and a plain white mask.

Bonus:  Rep your team!

As with any accessory, showing off your team spirit is fun!  Since we will be wearing masks often, why not represent your team (even if they are not playing this year…thanks to Covid).  I paired the same pink outfit with a mask from my Graduate school: the University of Memphis.

There you have it, some ways to style your outfits with different types of masks.  Since the pandemic is still here, we might as well make it a point to make the most out of and do our part in preventing the spread as well.  Let me know what you think, were these style tips any helpful for you?
