Hello my KMD lovelies!
Since living in the south, I love coming up with transitional fall outfits. It’s still so hot here (like between the 80s-90s) that it’s just not possible to be sweater weather ready until the end of the year. So, over the years, I’ve come up with ways to incorporate my sense of fashion from New York to a Southern feel.
The outfits mentioned below are in collaboration with BlushMark and were already featured in my previous blog post. However, a lot of my readers asked me to go more in depth with how I styled these transitional outfits for fall, with over-the-knee (OTK) boots so here it is!
Also, BlushMark is also offering my readers a limited time special 20% off discount code. If you like these outfits or want to purchase the cute masks from BlushMark, make sure to add the code “BMKomal20” at checkout.
OTK’s with a Denim Skirt
Denim skirts are so summer! I love to continue to wear a denim skirt to transition into fall weather. I paired this look with a blush colored cropped top – so not a fall color but it’s a great combo. I also paired it with nude OTK boots, in order to give it a more summer to fall feel.
OTK’s with a Tunic
A simple tunic combined with fall boots is one of the easiest ways to transition to fall with your wardrobe. I paired a pumpkin orange tunic with black OTK’s. I also added a long black necklace for some fun. I love orange and black are not only fall colors, but they are also Halloween colors as well. So, this outfit can go a long way with transitioning to both fall and Halloween season.
OTK’s with a Fall Colored Dress
I love olive green as a color for my fall wardrobe. It goes so well with the fall foliage as well as It looks great on many skin tones. For this outfit, I focused the attention on the olive-green dress and kept all accessories and shoes in a neutral tone. I added my black OTK boots and some light jewelry (a bracelet and my watch).
There you have it, some ways to transition to fall with over-the-knees boots. Which transitional look was your favorite?
