Three Types of Thanksgiving Outfits

Hello my KMD lovelies!

I know holiday season is going to look a little different this year.  However, I know lots of us still like to dress up or will be dressing down, so I put together a list of types of possible Thanksgiving outfits.  Check them out below and let me know what you think!

Fancy Family Gathering

If you’re anything like my in-laws, then you go all out for Thanksgiving!  Our Thanksgiving will be a little different this year (minus 45 people) however, that doesn’t mean that we can’t dress up! 

For the families that love to dress up, I suggest wearing a nice cocktail dress.  I paired this royal blue cocktail dress with some nice black heels and black crossbody purse.  I think deep gem tones are so much fun for fall plus it’s still not “festive” so you won’t look too much like Christmas too early.

Friendsgiving

If you are able to do a “Friendsgiving” with your friends then, this type of outfit is great for that event.  It’s a fun dress that you can pair with open toe booties.  For colder locations, you can add a chunky sweater on top of the dress and make it look like a sweater/skirt look.  It’s fun, casual and just the little bit of dressy that you need for your Thanksgiving dinner with your friends.

Pajama Party

If you’re anything like my family, you wear your loosest pajamas to Thanksgiving dinner.  I mean, might as well be comfy for the meal, right?

For this look, I paired a fun sweater dress with some house shoes.  Like above, it’s still not “festive” pajamas because you don’t want to look too much like Christmas during your Thanksgiving dinner.
