Hello my KMD lovelies!
Long time no blog post! It feels weird to have to do a blog post after a whole week. Thanks to Geet for doing a blog post last week as my Guest Blogger, I got to get a little bit of a break between blog posts. Anyway, I’m back at it and can’t wait to share some more fashion tips!
I know that New Year’s is all about sequins, so I’ll be sharing ways how I like to wear my sequins for this day. Since 2020 has been quite a year, I’ve come up with some fun ways to bring sequins & sparkles for your Social Distancing New Year’s Eve (NYE)!
Sequins for the Home Gathering
A fun way to shine on NYE’s is to have sparkly bottoms! I’ve seen some people wear sparkly pants and skirts. For this type of outfit, I’m wearing a skirt that’s half sparkly and paired it with a plain black sweater and booties. I also paired it with tight just in case it gets super chilly on NYE’s night. This outfit is super casual and great for a social distance NYE’s party at home with family and close friends.
Sequins for the Zoom Celebration
For those who are setting up Zoom Parties for their NYE’s gatherings, this is a perfect outfit for you. This outfit focuses the sequins more on your top. Since in most video chats, you see the top half of you, it’s a great way to show off your NYE’s blingy outfit! I paired this fun green sequin top with velour pants and black booties. Rather be comfortable at home!
Sparkle Everywhere to Celebrate BIG
Whether you’re going to keep it small at home or do a Zoom celebration, this outfit is great for both. This outfit is one of those outfits that you’ve been wanting to wear in order to say, ‘Good-bye 2020’. For this type of outfit, you want to get out your shiniest pieces in your wardrobe. I paired this fun mirror top (yes mirror, not sequins) with my favorite velour pants and black booties.
And those are my three favorite types of NYE’s outfits! I hope I gave you some good last minute social distance NYE outfit ideas! Which type of NYE will you be doing this year? Let me know in the comments below!
These are such good last minute ideas! I’m saying peace out to 2020 by just being at home. Keeping things small and cozy 🙂
Thanks Mehaa! I think we’re all just over 2020 and excited to say good-bye!
I’m in love with that green sequin top!!😍
Aww thanks, Nirvanna! The green top is what I like to call my “holiday season top”. Love to bring it out during holiday season!
