10 Best Valentine’s Day Movies to Watch In 2021 featuring iScriblr

Hey y’all beauties! I am so excited to be here today as a guest blogger on KMD! What an honor!

My name is Richa, and I am the brains (and the hands) behind the blog iScriblr.com, where we talk about life hacks, fashion and beauty tips, photography, health gyan, motherhood, poetry and heartfelt musings about everything and anything under the sun! (Talk about variety, eh!)

Komal has been more that just “another” blogger friend to me, and I am so proud of how far we’ve come in terms of mutual respect, admiration and friendship! Well.. It’s not everyday that you meet people that inspire you, challenge you and support you! Guess, I’m just lucky to have met her (all thanks to blogging! )

Keeping up with Komal’s wonderful blog, here’s my attempt to match her creativity and brilliance.

Well, with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to – get a little mushy, be at our romantic best and add that lovey-dovey touch for a “perfect date!” And who says dates have to be expensive and precarious? (Specially if we keep in mind the COVID-19 mayhem and its aftermath!)

Y’all, let’s break away from the monotonous, tiresome affair of making a show and being pompous! Let’s rid ourselves of materialistic things! Let’s do something that is more thoughtful and intentional (not forgetting, safe too!)

This year, surprise your partner with a romantic “night-in” curled up on your couch, with some appetizing dinner, chilled wine and a movie (or much better, a movie marathon!)

Trust me, it’s cupid approved and guarantees a lot of cuddles and snuggles! *wink wink*

Here’s my personal pick of top 10 Romantic movies that you and your beau can cozy up to this Valentine’s –

  1. Hi there, Richa! It looks like you and Komal are having some fun switching blogs! Kinda reminds me of Freaky Friday! 😉 Great selection of classics. I watched all of them except two, “Before Sunrise” and “Brokeback Mountain”. Thanks for sharing!

  2. One of my favorite movies (Dirty Dancing) had to be on this list. It’s an absolute classic and deserved nothing less than Top 10, haha. But also, Love Actually? Such a cute and beautiful love story, especially with little Sam. He was definitely my favorite.

Great list for all things Valentine’s movies! I’ll have to catch Sleepless in Seattle before the lovey-dovey season is over. 😛

  3. Pretty Woman is my all time favorite! I’ve watched sooo many times! I also completely love Dirty Dancing and The Notebook. Great list of favs!
